You raise a good point. I'm having a go a KTBH's mainly because I've heard so much about them recently, and I can 'have a play' without shelling out any brass.
Must say though I do like the idea of moveable Partition Boards to easily vary the hive size.
I'll have to see how it goes with frameless Top Bars - never used 'em before - and I have a feeling that I may be testing-out one or two custom frames (without foundation) in the brood area. So it might just end up a hybrid. That'll upset somebody, no doubt. C'est la vie.
