Is there a notification system for AFB, do you know this because of a bulletin or by word of mouth.

Thanks for that, how do you find the area on amap i.e SW73 is it a grid system, what map does it relate to?
I'm fairly sure it's an OS grid reference, so SW73 is about ten miles west of Falmouth. This site may help:
