I've had a late cancellation for this course, running on Sunday 3rd & Monday 4th Feb near Honiton in Devon.

The course is part of the NDB Short Courses programme, and subsidised by the FERA Healthy Bees Plan programme. This one looks at adult bee diseases, principally Acarine, Amoeba, and Nosema. It is mostly practical, giving plenty of opportunity to practice the diagnostic skills, plus an understanding of causative organisms and possible treatments. It would be useful to anyone considering doing Acarine or Nosema diagnosis, either for their own bees or as part of a local association activity.

Cost is £75, to cover both days tuition, refreshments, and light lunches. Microscopes and tools are provided or you can bring your own. Some experience of using a microscope would be beneficial but is not essential. Details of local B&B accommodation can be provided if required.

PM me if interested. Two places, first come, first served :)
