Are they a bit bigger than honey bees but a little smaller than bumble? I think I've seen a few around today

Bees at my allotment on Saturday 20th April. They love it in this spot as it is very sheltered and gets the sun nearly all day.

I'd say they are the same size as a honey bee Ely, with extra fluff.

Thanks jaxx yes, they are just beginning to use the wall of our old stone house again, it becomes masonry bee paradise for a few weeks! Holes in all the lime mortar. Bless them!
