A problem with EFB test kits

there is a rumour i heard in Hertfordshire that this year several EFB lateral flow test kits had AFB LFT in them so gave negative results when the actual hives had EFB

Has anyone else heard of problems with EFB Lateral flow devices or a recall of a batch of them

There used to be problems with them when they first came out, if true, it sounds like there are still problems with them.
Find a microscope a much better thing to be using.

Not me either.
If there was a problem, I would hope that the supplier would issue (would have issued) a recall notice for any batch involved.

If in doubt smell it, probably the worst bee related smell and sticks with you for hours

I agree, I could never afford to buy such things, but thankfully I have no need for them anyway.
