A flow at last

Everything open round here from lime to blackberry and all my swarm and split hives have filled at least one super in a week. The only hive I was left with after a dismal winter has drawn and filled a super full of frames in six days. I had little hope of much honey this year but now I have 10 supers on four hives so things are looking up

There is always hope in beekeeping! I have 2 spare supers left (poor planning this winter) and hope they process the nectar quickly so that I can extract and re-use supers before running out!

On holiday just as the flow, I hope, got started. Fingers crossed when I get gone I have to add supers and although the weather is nit so good the nectar continues to pile in.
