I took a peek at my artificially swarmed hive this afternoon - the part without the queen. There were 3 nice queen cells on different frames.

Should I make up a couple of 5 frame nucs? I'm not fussed about getting a honey crop and there are a load of new beeks waiting for bees.

So into each nuc put 1 frame food + 2 frames brood + QC frame + frame feeder and shake in a load of young bees. Pop some grass into the nuc entrances. Close up the "donor" hive with a division board to 4 frames + feeder.

At least the trick will spoil your hive. You give brood away.
I cannot see any idea in this.
How big is your original hive?

swarming queen cell + brood in a nuc ....it takes 3 weeks that those start to lay....

In artificial swarm the queen lays the hve full in one week. Then happens nothing before new bees start to emerge enough after 4 weeks.
