Hi all,
Later this month, teams of young beekeepers from England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales will be going to Muenster in Germany to join delegates from 30 plus other countries from every continent on the planet at the 2013 International Meeting of Young Beekeepers.

Teenagers from as far afield as Namibia, Brazil, China, Japan, the USA and Canada will all come together to learn more about each others bees and beekeeping techniques as well as competing with each other on eight different areas of beekeeping and apiculture.

We will be writing articles for the BBKA magazine and Bee-Craft when they return and I'll put something up here later too.

Well done on your organisation of the English team and I hope they all do well.

1) Isn't Antarctica one of "every continent on the planet"?
a) Do they have bees?
b) Do they have beekeepers?
2) Competitive Beekeeping ?? :-O :-O
a) I prefer relaxing non-competitive myself

Aside from that - It sounds very interesting!
Good luck - I hope it goes well and all the yoofs enjoy it!!
