    the queen from the original hive is at another out apiary and was seen today this one is here at my home apiary. are you saying that the VQ may have gone on her 2nd mating flight and the bees was giving her a good send off

    so did an artificial swarm on the 19th April 5 frames in an nuc 1 charged Q cell and 1 capped. depending if the capped one has hatched that would give VQ 9 days to mate. Yesterday 29th i saw the bees very busy as if they was swarming all over the front of the nuc 20 mins later all settled down...

    I have my wax capping from my last extraction(clean and free from honey) is there any way I can give these back to the bees to help them build up for the season if so how and how many other beekeepers do this your thought please:judge:

    My girls are taking 8 oz fondant from the crown board in 5 days, so how much is to much.do we keep feeding or the bees store it like a hamster.just thinking are the cells going to be full before HM starts laying im on single broad,ive hefted and the hive dont feel low on stores your thoughts...

The hives are full so happy to take supers away the main thing is the QX just incase it so cold and the bees decide to move up there the Q will be left behind.     i tried using an uncapping comb and to be honest is was bobbins very small pieces of wax which clog up my filters, so the question is how many use the comb than an uncapping knife

    so your thoughts on how to move bees that have started to build comb on a trunk of a tree 6 comb. i was thinking on putting a wooden box over the top hoping they would build into it, or scrap into a hive and move.this is about 20ft up the trunk :hairpull::calmdown::rules:

    I've just been approached by a fellow bee keeper who asked how much i sell my wax for. I have what call class one wax in one pound blocks just like gold bars so my question is how much do other people sell it for i was thinking £5.00 a pound what your thoughts

    so having been hampered by slugs last year. this is what ive come up with zap zap zap slugs i declare war on you touched it with my tongue and it works well the wire is half an inch off the stand and wide enough so bees don't touch them (i hope)
