I called in to view the lots on offer but there wasn't anything that took my fancy. Is this a sign I've got everything I need for the time being I wonder?
Oddly, during the time I was looking around there were not any bees on offer.

Given the losses this spring, I'd expect few colonies to be coming up for sale yet.

Given the losses this spring, I'd expect few colonies to be coming up for sale yet.

Considering the supply and demand pressure on prices at Beverley BKA Auction I'd expected some would have been offered.
The location was pretty busy with a motorbike show, a tractor show, an army enactment camp and the beekeepers. The army camp was occupying the area normally used by the beekeeping lots.
Probably flying bees would have been the cause of much entertainment ��
