Wings broken/not formed?

Spotted this bee in hive. Nearly looked like half the wings have been chewed off.

Any thoughts?

(Ignore the white stuff on bee. My fault)

If recent hatchling could be Deformed Wing Virus* ( DWV).... treat with Hiveclean

*although the few times I have seen DWV the wings look more shriveled and not cleanly cut.

You are not old , your body thinks you are but your mind thinks otherwise, .

On the broken wings they look like they have been snapped when the bee is dead and dry, probably through getting moved about.

looks like a dead drone that has died and bees chewed at it to get it out the hive

Should have said, I took it alive but accidentally killed it. Pretty sure it was a drone actually.
