I realise this has been a topic before but i am not convinced by hazel. Ideas anyone?????????

Any hellebores around? They have white pollen and are in full swing now. Hazel isn't white, it's a dull yellow.

hellibore pollen is an off white the pollen being brought in is a white white

High probability of Butterbur, if you are sure it is not hazel. Alder another possible bet. Butterbur is a cracking early spring source, both pollen and some nectar.

Hivemaker once described how those of his bees that got on the butterbur got a cracking start. I planted some round the apiary pond and it has spread nicely. This year it bloomed in January :hairpull:
