No. You give it over. Get it right. There are a lot of inexperienced beeks - some new starters that haven't even read as good beekeeping book - and you are telling them untruths. Get it right. Slovenly reporting is unacceptable, as is getting it wrong.

Assuming people will know what it means is assuming - and assuming is, more often than not, a poor policy. Time and time and time again those new beeks would assume that to be true. 'Been told it on the beekeeping forum and nobody challenged it, so it must be true'.
While we are on the subject, I very much doubt that bees discard anything that is still useful, so I would disgree with that one as well.
