EFB is bacterial, not viral.

You're right (tired brain) but the gist is that disease is present pretty much universally, but remains latent until circumstances enable development of symptoms.

On the subject and to add to the continuation of the season, I had 3 2021 queens raised via demaree or in full hives that mated earlier in the month, started laying well, stopped and vanished with the latest one being in a nuc I made 2 weeks ago.
