Hello,

My son is good at design, he actually create them and put them on T-shirts. He asked me to see your opinion for his design :

Let me know what you think about it ?

Thank you,

I like it.

So is it for a T-shirt or some other product?

I like the design, but not the text - it seems a bit lacking somehow. It's the bees that serve, not the beekeepers. Are you saying the bees serve billions of people, or beekeepers serve billions of bees?

I have two baseball caps I wear through the summer, one says "Keeper of the Bees", the other says "Don't mess with the Queen".

I saw a teeshirt that read "Varroa sucks" (American as you'd expect).

How about one that reads "It's a beekeeping thing, you wouldn't understand", or a picture of a bee with the caption, "Actually, not that busy"

Love the design but I too find the wording confusing......not at all obvious what it actually means!

Thank you for your responses. It's true that It's a bit confusing.

I like the idea "It's a beekeeping thing, you wouldn't understand" it would look good on a T-shirt.

There is quite a lot of these sort of T shirts on Amazon already that you may want to look at first.

You could maybe think of doing bespoke designs for individual beekeepers, clubs or associations as well though.

But good luck :)

I always liked the (only) sticker I stuck to my Landy. It basically read wear wool - 35 million sheep can’t all be wrong.

“Eat honey - billions of bees can’t all be wrong” would go along with that theme.

Message is too wide - will get lost at the edges of the T shirt.

Short and snappy is best.

I likes the one that Youtuber Cody was wearing last year

"I'm a Beekeeper...
everything I own is sticky!"

I have a few shirts in my Beekeeping themed collection but some original ideas would be good, most just get copied and recycled.

Puns are good (well to me anyway) so references to Drone, Queen, Mead and that kind of thing might be an idea?

We thought about bespoke designs but It's hard to find clients

Well, I got it straight away.

Nothing wrong with a slogan that takes a moment for the penny to drop.

Anyway, if the desperate conundrum of 'who serves, the bees or the beekeeper ?' never gets solved, so what ?

I like it, well done to your son.

Agreed. More interesting to have it ambiguous, with multiple interpretations. Hope he does well.

I love the idea of "I'm a Beekeeper... everything I own is sticky!", I think I'll tell my son to make a design with it and I'll have it for myself :)

Here's another idea that came to me the other day when mowing the lawns, its a bit beekeeper orientated.

(insert image or text over a silhouette of a dandelion)

I'm a Beekeeper
I don't see weeds anymore...
I see FORAGE!
