Overwintered pollen is a very poor protein sources, down by about 70%+. It's why it's advised to freeze frames of pollen for spring.
BT?
Do you spray them wet or get them dry first?

. Dry frames stored in dry conditions and the pollen just shakes out in the spring as a powder.

When storing supers wet, do you ever apply certan as well?
Or just ratchet them up with boards and store wet?

What do you use to keep the rain off? Roof?I store wet outside. Strapped close, Never an issue - yet.

I've got ply boards I can use to ratchet top and bottom and pallets to stack to keep them off the ground, but the ply will quickly deteriorate outside in the wet.
I'll see if I can find an empty barn to use by any other ideas for keeping them outside/dry?

Hmm. This is the issue.Hive roof will suffice - I'm lucky as I have a large covered but open sided shelter which was the dog run when I had working spaniels, really wished I'd kept more spaniels now as the shelter is quickly becoming to small to store all the kit
Good shout! I've got plenty of those!Tarpaulin ?
I like those!! Thanks
