Ive told loads of people about this forum, but cause i am basicly a git, i doubt any of them have even looked :D

which lady is that? does know one who works for thornes but lives down here in cornwall? She is a great person - taught me and constantly helps me with dilemas - ie lack of equiptment that i hadnt thought i would need, but bees decide they do!

If she joins that will be great I will have a nother angle that i can pester her on!!!:hurray:

From previous experience of people who work at tho rnes. It will take her 3 weeks to sign up, a further 3 weeks to read anything and a further 3 weeks to reply.

So don't hold your breath.

That'll be Linda - she helped us a lot as well, we are local to the Windsor shop so we are always in there. Sadly she's no longer there....

(I don't think the OP is talking about Linda though....)

I got the impression from the first post that it was a customer and not a member of staff that they are talking about. If it is a member of staff we have probably frightened them off by now :D

Tom,
you are right it was, in-fact, a lady who came in with her husband...attractive, sporting a tan, nice attitude, and driving a range rover. I am describing Mrs rather than Mr (although Mr may be very pleasant too for all I know!)

They seemed excited about the prospect of becoming beekeepers and were just getting the final few pieces of kit.

They were also chatting with (or were being chatted to by) another man who didn't know about the site and was perhaps a bit sniffy about the web.

All the best,
Sam

What she drove her range rover into the shop!

Hmmm never thought of that...!

The Stockbridge shop is very cosy with a car park in-front of the entrance...
She had a private plate but I will not reveal it...suffice to day when her hubby got out of the car I didn't see it fitting him somehow.

A sad loss indeed, but we have kept in touch with her and she is now going to do some teaching from her apiary.

Hi Milkermel.
Lynda has left Thornes, we are lucky to have her back in Cornwall fulltime now:.)
