It's highly unlikely scorching will get into crevices where eggs may be lying unless you burn very deeply, ruining the timber. Certan would be waiting "on guard" for wax moth larvae to emerge.
 
Thanks Finman, Appreciate your English is far superior to my Finnish ( Non Existent ) but your reply makes no sense.

Did not say all my comb was Wet, was only referring to Supers as I said.

The rest of your comments I am sure are based on fact and experience but do not translate to make sense. Thanks Anyway.
