So I found the nest after watching them at dusk turns out they are going into a tennis ball size hole about 3 foot away from my hives (bushes In Between them which is why it took so long to find) although they currently are not getting into the hive they are constantly trying! Used millets tunnel which is working really well

just want a few suggestions on how to deal with? What brands/methods for removal that work

Sorry, miss-read this at first.
Thought the nest was "tennis ball sized"?

Bit of a bugger if it's close to your hives.

I'd be tempted to close the hives up after dark, then put plenty of ant powder down the hole and fill it in.

Check the wasps aren't out after lunch the next day and if so, release the girls.

Be fastidious with regard to the ant-powder as it will destroy the hives too!

Another way would be to get a flame gun and mate with a spade (+ thick suits)!

Pause before you treat the nest. It might be more counter productive treating it than you think.

Is there a high rate of traffic in and out of the nest at the moment?

.
If the nest is under ground, pour gasoline in it. Fire.

Above ground, spray double effectice Cooper killer.

Neither safe or environmentally friendly! :nono::nono:

:facts:Petrol is explosive when mixed 7% in air
ie. When some crazy fool pours it into a rabbit burrow! :svengo:

Nono to your self.

Wasp hole is not a rabbit hole. Pour so much that it is 17%.

Once I pour gasoline over wasp hive which was inside dry hays.
It was a little slope. A flame exploded one metre away. The fume has went dow to slope before I got fire. Luckyly I was on opposite side.

I use carb cleaner on a regular basis, I'd spray a load in, with the nozzle, close the hole and job done, ok maybe not environmentally friendly but it works a treat.

Why not just let them be ?... Strong colonies of bees will keep them out - moreso if you reduce the entrance down. Wasps are actually very good in many ways and the nest will be vacated within another month or so at most.

All this talk of killing things .... could do without it !

I hoovered up enough last year to stop the bees being unduly bothered as the nest was underground a meter from two hives. Did not want to risk contamination of the hives.

I've let them be this long however now that they are attacking people and dogs their time is done I'm not talking a few wasp here and there one man said he got stung 8 times while walking through the field

Would wouldn't keep a dog that bites People

Ah, you didn't say they were doing any harm in your original post.

We had lots of aphids. They came via weather fronts from Ukraine and Russia and so on from South.

Everything was fi,e as oon as wasps were hunting on trees. Then it came heavy rains which washed aphids away. At same time enemies of aphids stopped the growth of aphid population.

Wasps were hungry. They become a nuisance. They started to eate strawberries, raspberries, apples and whatever which stinks food.

Let the wasps be. But not on my nose and lukee this morning, 30 wasps in my living room's window.

And if I have 2000 wasps in my extraction room, do I let them be. Soon they are inside the vacuum cleaner.

.when I write this out, all the time some wasp is going to sniff my eyes lips.

That famous method: Do nothing. Be, and let others be.

I'd like to know as well so............
