Very sad news

Our very well loved President of Brighton & Lewes Beekeepers, Tudor Hawkins, sadly died yesterday.
A bee keeper of great experience, and just a lovely gentle man.
He had struggled with heart problems for quite a while and didn't cope with corrective surgery.
Our thoughts and prayers are with his family. R.I.P.

Yes, he qualified for the '50 yr a beekeeper' BBKA award but was too modest to accept their accolade.
