I started Apiguard treatment 7 days ago. I quickly had a look at the Varroa floor and noticed quite a large amount of mites. Is this normal for this treatment as this is the first time i have treated for Varroa.

As Walrus. The mite count during treatment just shows what has been killed. If there seems a lot of mites then wait a couple of weeks after the treatment has been removed and then monitor for a few days to check you have had a good kill rate and don't need to treat again.
