Forgot to ask in (1) and thanks for advice received ...will be acted on.

Some winter hives are nadired i.e., super placed underneath brood box. The instruction is to vaporise Apibioxal (oxalic acid) only when supers are off. Will these nadired super/frames and or honey be tainted by the application – Honey safe to sell next season?

Do what you need to do. you and your supers will be fine for next year whether they are nadired or brood plus half..;)

I have vaped with nadired supers for 3 years. No impact on honey or anything.
Just do it.. (I add 1 g extra to cater for increased volume)

Honey will likely be gone by next season ... if you're intending to extract and sell it don't leave it on the hive overwinter expecting it to still be there in the Spring.

Super and frames will be just fine though.

:iagree:

Depends what you call ‘tainted’. Of course that SHALLOW BOX will get a dose - possibly more so than a SUPER.
