I have paid ethe extra money for next day timed delivery and found that another parcel posted as 1st class sent at the same time got there before the special one.
1st class nearly always arrive the next day but 2nd class..........well.....
depends on lunch breaks and if the postman wants to finish early with no overtime.
It is always worth spending the extra on recorded delivery though.
