Has anyone experience of using an uncapping roller?

It occurs to me that there should be less mess and less wastage using this rather than a knife.

Strikes me that it might fall down a bit with uneven comb, and in a few other minor scenarios. But there again, so can a knife.

Tried it, binned it.

Knife worked best for me, but I had the kit to deal with cappings.

Are you posting about the electric £500 machines?

This year it would be quicker for me to use a cocktail stick.

Whats wrong with a bread knife, works quickly cheap as chips less in the £ shops lol

We used 2 breadknives today during our honey extraction session. The chap most experienced at carving the Sunday roasts took the gold medal :D
