Two Deaths in one Day

We have just returned from some time in Scotland,wish I had never left. Underneath the table next to a tree found a dead tawny owl my daughter said she heard lots of noise in the evening late at nigh (didn't investigate ). Went to see the bees found big hedgehog dead. What a day. Inspected the bees before I left they had capped some supers, all uncapped less bees seem to want to go up queen seen. I seen two cells looked more like play cells empty. Should I remove them? All the bees are doing is building wax between frames.
