Do you have a photo of the flowers Ian?Ok we have a lot of acacia type around on road verges it flowers about end of May. This 1 is slightly different and so are the flower bunches.
Anyone got any ideas, I’m guessing it’s a type of acacia. First saw it a few years ago and it was in flower. Quite literally I have never seen so many bees on anything, including hornets taking the bees. View attachment 27272
Unfortunately not I’ll keep an eye and am sure it flowered later than this. But it was a few years ago. Maybe next year…….again!Do you have a photo of the flowers Ian?
It’s not dissimilar to the robina that flowers in late May but it’s flowers are different. It may well be locust but then I need ti figure the other one out!It looks like our neighbours locust tree. What makes you think it isn't?
Google has an identification feature which can be accessed via the camera function. Take a photo on your phone first for reference.
