I have completed two treatments with Apiguard on all my three hives. Is that it for the year?...or,

I have some API-Bioxal ready but should I use it later in the year when there is less laying?

Up to you to check.
Pop an inspection tray under the floor in about 2 weeks time. Look after 2 days to see if any varroa drop. I would personally leave them to build up for winter strength and maybe do oxalic in Dec ... if you feel there is still a varroa risk.

Yes, check.
My few words on the subject from personal experience are:-
It may be a little early to have finished your varroa treatment. There is a danger of re-infestation particularly if there are collapsing colonies nearby that your bees rob out. So check again in a month. If you have Api.....whatever ;) and are set up to OAV then an accelerated mite drop (one vape) is a good way. Anything more than 20 in 24 hours needs doing.

If not then inspection tray needs to be in for a week, even then it's not that accurate
(Do count the mites daily and clean the board or you won't be able to see anything for crud)
