Hi

New apiary site, have Sunday last put in a Nuc and established hive on one super, Hived up the nuc last evening into cedar hive, wanted to transfer the established hive on a super into again a new cedar hive.

Any potential problems re introducing them into a new Brood box and super ?

Need to do this as want to have the apiary looking well as is a great site in a convent and maybe in future will introduce interested school kids to it as a way of promoting bee keeping.

Do you mean you have a hive in a shallow super box and you want to put it into a deep brood box? I am a bit confused! Easy to do at my age!

Think he just wants to chance old scabby hive to a nice new shiny one - leave them a day or so to get settled in to new location and just transfer them into new box
