A girlfriend and I were once hiking the Pembroke Coastal Path. The route took us past a pretty cottage where an old chap was cutting the hedge in exactly that attire. The trouble was he was on the road side of the hedge.....It certainly took us both by surprise!

Lol

I've heard of the barefoot beekeeper but bare arsed is a bit much imho.
FWIW I'd rather do bee work without a veil than without a smoker and quite often do bees in shorts and sandals when it's warm.

I'll take the veil as you are all corrupting me- a simple innocent :paparazzi:

Cmon Llyn Idwal is only stroll from the car park.you hardly need a map for that or more than trainers.

I was going fondant pretty much the same thing but couldn't be arsed with the flack.
That's pretty much exactly how we took kids up to the slabs for climbing when I worked at capel curig and plas Menai. It's a great spot to experience exposure, but nice easy routes.

Much the same here, but jeans and shirt instead of the shorts for me, have not worn a bee suit for years and rarely use a veil, the three boys are much the same, T shirt and jeans, although two of them do wear a veil a bit more often, just those BB Wear vest type things.
