syrup storing or using

Temperature 28 degrees here in Norfolk today higher predicted tomorrow. Bees very active, not sure if they know what season it is. I have been feeding syrup for 3 weeks 15 litres so far and they are now taking it at the rate of 5L in 6 days. With all this unexpected late season heat will the bees need more feed than usual as they must be taking some to fuel all this activity?

Last crop of the season, Ivy coming into full flow, loads of polen and nectar but the honey sets like concrete, better to get them fed before it starts.

5l in 6 days, using entrance feeders mine tuck away 4l in 6 hours. My five hives have had 40k of sugar so far this year.
