any body spotted any yet, a friend of mind living in wales spotted a couple yesterday.

No not yet but a pair nested under our eaves last year.
Just before we moved in the previous owners tore down the nest....silly ******
I hope they return nevertheless.
 
I spotted one here the other afternoon.
 
Havent seen any swallows yet but saw some blackthorn blossom this afternoon (it wasnt out this morning !) Hallelujah !
 
None here yet they have arrived on the 13 of April here for the past 15 years, was talking to a twitcher yesterday she was saying there are loads of sightings further south.
 
Just seen one in Leeds.

I saw 4 on the way to work this morning flying alongside the road between 2 almost bare wheat fields.

No Swallows but spotted....heard them first....quite a few House Martins today.
They always appear just before the swallows.
 
I saw, as well as heard, a cuckoo yesterday :)
 
One lonely little swallow arrived here this morning. I've been on the lookout for his friends but none so far. No house martins either and they normally arrived before the swallows.
 
House martins arrived here today - also first real bumblebee activity including this healthy looking specimen.......
