Now in year three, I am quite determined to do away with the several national brood frames I have in my 14x12 hives - they're making the inevitable mess with brave comb, as you can imagine.

In the past, I've been too scared of upsetting the colony by removing brood and stores - but really want them gone now - so am being rather more forceful about removing them!

Last week I moved a couple out to the sides, a few more this week - I also today removed a frame full of capped honey on one side, and about half and half honey and pollen the other side.

My question is, what do I now do with this frame of honey/pollen?

Can I store it until I extract later in the year? Or what?

Crush and strain unless it's sugar syrup in which case feed feed back to bees when appropriate ?

Thought that might be the answer - I look forward to becoming exceptionally honey covered in the near future!!!

Thanks!
