The question is, would you like anyone see you uniting two colonies by the newspaper method, using the Sun on Sunday?

Dusty

I wouldn't let my bees demean themselves:)
BTW Wasn't daft enough to waste my 50p in the first place!:D

It makes for a very quick unite - they cannot wait to get the c**p out of the hive :leaving:

Use

  • Observer in an observation hive, obviously
  • Express if it's late in the season
  • Independent for a Warré hive
  • FT if you are doing it to save money
  • Sunday Times if you are doing it to make money
  • Mail if you intend to post what you did on here
  • Guardian if they are feisty
  • OK/Hello if they are expensive imported bees
 Someone can do better than this...
