I thought about ordering a baseball cap but with it being hot inside the suit as it is, I opted for a visor. I ordered a visor to wear inside the fencing hood, as mine kept sliding back and resting on my forehead. I've not been stung yet but I thought I'd keep the veil off my face to avoid getting stung.
This is the veil type i use which makes it impossible to take a sting to the face, the only vulnerable spots are the top of your ears,however after dealing with a volatile colony for 3yrs wearing this suit i am yet to take a sting while wearing it, just noticed mind after looking at that picture and my eye brows could do with a trim.
