I have recently extracted about 150lb and beginning to store in 1lb squat jars.

My question is what do people store jars in? Crates/ boxes. Looking for something strong enough and a nice convenient siZe.

In buckets. I don’t jar till I need to but if you already have them in bale arm crates stacked up in the garden shed; no room in the house. Don’t label them unless you have a dry honey warmer. I like my Aldi tea urn. It takes fifteen jars or a 30 lb bucket to melt in a water bath

In cardboard boxes..
1 layer high (too heavy to lift if more and box is not strong enough).

Does not stay stoered for long.
Personal use? shoebox in warm room.

I use these plastic crates used for mushrooms, they are the right depth and stack. I get them from my son who runs a kitchen but I'm sure supermarkets or greengrocers could supply?
I use 12oz hex and these take 21 jars, I would guess they would take 18 round 1lbs?

Thanks all for the replies. I’m hoping to get rid ASAP so something like those mushroom crates would be ideal for brining small batches in the car. Will take a look at those.

Thanks.
