Sorry if this is in the wrong place, but I wondered if there is some sort of 'storage' or 'marking' system available on this forum. Sorry, possibly not making myself clear. I have just read Poly Hive's description of making up a nuc, and thought 'that's good, and will prove useful when the time arrives', but the time is not quite today, and my memory not too good. I know there is a search facility on this forum, but is there a way of personally marking or storing a post / thread to make it easier finding it later on. I swear I am not being lazy, just that there are so many posts that can take me a while to track some stuff down (let alone remember that they existed in the first place). I could print it off and may resort to doing this with some of the posts if it is the only method, but wondered if there is some way of doing this and I am missing it.

Thanks

Sally

ps again, sorry if it is the wrong place

I sometimes email myself the thread URL with a description, or you could simply copy the URL into a text file or Word doc, or create a database if you have the tools/software.

How about "Subscribe to this Thread" under "Thread Tools" on each thread. They then appear in you CP under "Subscribed Threads". Never used it myself, but you can create seperate folders for different subjects if you want to organise them. You can also get it to E-Mail you if more posts are made to it.

Hi Harveyzone
I did wonder about this, but have not used it and wasn't sure how it would look... I have now emailed myself a few posts and may also do the subscribe 'thing' and see what it looks like and if it is easy to navigate / search / store etc

Thank you

Have just discovered there is a Blog feature - I don't know if this is active, but there is a button to the right of Q'REPLY that allows you to post a thread to your blog. It seems access to your blog can be restricted so no others can comment, in essence becoming a personal record or reference point.

How about just "bookmarking" the page....
