Storing frames with foundation.....

I think I know the answer to this but double checking....

Do you spray frames with just foundation in them with cirtan before strapping them up with the empty comb frames for winter ?
 
Wax moth do prefer older comb but they will go for foundation so if you have the stuff out no harm in a spray
 
OR..... put box with frames in a deepfreezer for 24hours... then wrap and store.

I have found it cracks the foundation when it contracts if you freeze it. I have two parallel posts in a sealed room and store my framesin there.

Not found any problems as the bees soon sort out any irregularities in the drawn comb when they get back on to it!!
