spring Varrao treatment

I have a varrao problem in my only hive I have been reading the Apiguard is not best used in spring what is the best treatment for varrao in the spring specially with the frosts we been having in the morning what one would you folks recommend ?

If I identified a hive with an issue now I’d be inclined to vape. If I thought the hive small enough that it wouldn’t be producing a crop/surplus in the next few weeks I’d use apivar

I vaped in March - 4 times 5 days apart.
Worked well but inconvenient if you are away from home.

Like Boston Bees above, Apivar or Apistan if no crop for 2 months.
