Spiced honey Glazed Hazelnuts

spice (I used cinnamon)
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
2 tablespoons water
2 tablespoons honey (local honey is best)
2 cups hazelnuts
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup sugar (I used natural demerara unrefined cane sugar)

this should make 2 cups worth.

ready mix some sugar and spice in a bowl you will need this later on to stop them sticking.

Mix the 2 tablespoons of honey with the 2 tablespoons of water.
Melt butter in pan and add the honey water mix, bring to a low boil mixing them.
add your hazelnuts.
Stir over medium heat, until lightly toasted, about 4-5 minutes.
Add salt and sugar and stir for another 8 - 10 minutes longer,or until sugar carmelizes over hazelnuts.
add you spice and mix it in.
pour out into your spice suger mix and mix though to stop nuts sticking together.
Leave to cool (if you can)
