Thought I would make some for my stall in a few weeks. A square cake would be easier to cut up. Anyone know what size tin would be needed?

Sorry for the late reply, only just saw the message. We now use a good teaspoon of ground ginger and then chop up a piece of stem ginger to give a bit of texture, it is EVEN BETTER if you poor some warm honey over the top of the cake

I've written that recipe into my book so am planning a batch of wheaten loaves with a honey cake in the next few days. It sounds lovely especially with ginger. Thanks to everyone for sharing.
