An excerpt from email of Cardiff and Vale BKA
" XXXX has reported an attempted theft of
a bee hive from a site in Taffs Well. ........ The thief attempted to put the hive with bees into a van. He dropped the hive, presumably too heavy or cumbersome and drove off in his van when some one challenged him."
