I use the packaging all seaon only noticed a problem when I blew some at my face to get rid of a bee.
Result was not what I call a pleasant experiance so sure it most have an effect on the bees.
Was tempted to use pine cones as arround Milton Keyens town car park there are thousands waiting to be collected. Have heard bees dont like pine smoke so this may be an old wives tale.
