What do you use to clean your smoker?

I want it to look nice and clean.

Stainless, glav or copper.

Stainless or copper - metal polish.

Galv - nothing can help it.

Mne is galv.

I don't!, mine is a cheap stainless smoker and the 'rolled' spout does not seal - until it all dirty and the tar does the job the manufacturer should have done.

Given it's tar I would have thought that turps or turps substitute would get rid, next light up might be interesting though!

Note to self: Xmas pressie hints need to be written and stuck up round the house

I use the current Lady DD - works brilliantly, and I don't even raise a sweat!

Used blowtorch for the heavy stuff and cleaned residue with turps.
Now looks reasonable.

Leave it a bit tarnished, then you will look like you know what you're doing.
