I have never seen honey bees on these shrubs just bumble bees and butterflies but then again there is no honey bees in the area where the shrubs are.Well done that man. If he doesn't want his cutting I'll have it?
At a slight tangent. I remember somewhere that sometimes bees use laburnum though I never saw one on my neighbours ancient huge tree. On my way down the coast to St David's one late spring the hedgerows for miles were one huge yellow splash with masses of naturalised shrubs.
No problem when the roots get established in the green house i will harden them of out side, and then PM you, they take around 2yrs to get going in this location but it may be quicker further south.Hi Millet,

For the first time since i planted them yes they are pooping up all over in the garden bellow the shrubs , i think i read somewhere they need to be planted around August/ September time for them to successfully germinate at this time of the year.Do the seeds grow from those seed pods?
