Just moved home and have inherited a few new small gardens, there are a few things I would like to keep as they have good insect traffic on them. I need to find out how big they get but I don't know what they are called, this is the first....

The dried hollow stems are useful for making insect hotels.

Great plant to have if you have chickens. They jump for the berries which are very sweet.

I thought so but have been told no. Fungi other infections and predators can get through the stems. Best use a solid block of wood and drill holes in it
