should i brood and a half?

i have two colonies at the moment one is on a single bb and one is in a poly nuc, both are pretty strong colonies and i'm going to put the nuc into a bb, what im wondering is, is there enough time before winter to put the bb colony on to brood and a half, is it worth it and any advice. they have loads of stores and brood and im worried that they are running out space.

I wouldn't - at this time of year they are getting smaller and ready for winter - and don't really have time to make wax and fill it. If you are going to treat for varroa - that will slow them down too - leave them until Spring, and then give them more space...
