Masses. Hopefully the colony is broodless and that vape has got the majority. I’d still do the next three vapes anyway and hope there are enough healthy bees to get the colony through the winter.

I've had some like that when treating in September/October, it took several treatments (?6) to get down to low numbers.
I presume you put the board back in to see the drop after the 2nd treatment?

Yes the board is back in
I plan to keep dosing at 5 day intervals another 5 times (7 in total) due to the massive infestation

The most useful measurement is the 24 hour after treatment drop

Years ago I took boards out and stopped estimating numbers in the squares when I got to about 800. Yours don't look that bad, but I'm an optimist (and much of that detritus is capping crumbs).
