I have bees leaving via joints what is the best filler / what do you use, to carry out repairs?

For a quick fix I keep a tube of no nails and a roll of masking tape in my work box.

Tape the part you don't want it to stick to, then apply the no nails to the damaged part. Tape on the outside of the repair to keep the bees off.

That gives me time to do a better repair when I have more time...

hive repairs

Once used black plasticine on a section crate, bees harvested it and mixed it with the section cappings

Small wedge of wood glued into place for larger gaps.

Or for bee sized holes, found when knocking a hive together I will mix shavings/sawdust with the hive glue and use for repair.
