Remaining swarm bees not captured

I thought it was a supercedure but looks like they have swarmed with just 1 or 2 QC's, def no more.

They do that if conditions are right. I would say they USUALLY do that after a Q introduction: swarm the new girl out to take her chances and run with one of her daughters. Genetically I suppose the "idea" is that then at least there's a chance some of the drones' (and so existing colony's) genes get a look in.
