I was in Redhill today seeing some friends and we all went for a walk. On our walk we went past a cricket club (don't know its exact location) and encountered a beekeeper and his son.
They were removing a set of old broken hives and one remaining hive that had a colony in it. Apparently these rotten old hives had been left for years.
So was that you with your son? How did you get on with the recovery? What did you come away with in the end?
All the best,
Sam
